The Spaceship

This lantern was made using salvaged materials. The lantern itself is salvaged and has been modified and painted. Inside each of the lanterns windows intricate natural patterns shine through panels that are made up of leftover rock from counter top surfaces. Each panel is different and held together using stain glass methods. The light from the lantern shines through cross polarized light, just as the Geologist would view the minerals beneath the microscope.
